Hey everybody!
Does anyone recall (and/or have pictures of) the damascus Steve Dunn made at the 2017 Mid American Bladesmithing Symposium? I remember it involved forging into a triangular cross-section, twisting, and then cutting for a feather pattern, with something related to the triangle being forged on the wrong side.
Every once in a while I think about it and remember it as one of the most fascinating patterns I've seen. Not to wax too poetic about it, but I remember kind of a "vine and flowers" vibe to it.
Sorry if that's both an annoyingly vague and specific question, but I figure I'd give it a shot!
