thanks guys I am glad you all find it helpful.
Steve- for deep carving I use a variation on this with a round bottom, that one really hogs out back grounds.
Wes- this is one of the anvils we use on job sites, it is set on a metal stand and isn't held down but is held in place quite well and isn't going to do more than walk away from me. The main shop anvil I would normally use (a 450Lb beast) didn't have great light they day I filmed this, and the camera would have been in my business partners way so...
