Howdy Everyone.

I just joined today.I am so stoked about being part of this organization. There's such a wealth of knowledge here to learn from. I've been making knives for friends for a couple of years now, but I want to go to the next level. I would still consider myself a beginner. I am looking forward to many years of working with all of you. Thank you for letting me be a part.

Welcome to the American Bladesmith Society and the ABS Forum. I enjoyed our exchange of emails earlier today and am glad that I could assist you.

Hello Ricky and welcome. There are a good number of really fine smiths in Arkansas. Good location. I look forward to meeting you. Are you going to make it to the fall hammer in? A lot of good information over a weekend. Let us know if you have questions.

Ricky,

Welcome to the ABS and the Forum!!

Sorry to be so slow to welcome you. I've been overwhelmed with work lately and have had difficulty finding time for the computer. Playing catch-up now.

You have a bunch of great knifemakers around you! You're in the perfect area to learn this craft. You definitely should attend the 2nd Thursday meetings that Uncle Al hosts at Riverside Machine Shop.
