Hi all,

I have been a hobbyist bladesmith for the last 3 or so years, and most of my "education" has been in the form of videos and books written by members of this wonderful society. I've joined in the hope of expanding my knowledge and getting to know other knife making enthusiasts the world over. I eventually plan on trying for JS and MS ratings (once my skills match my aspirations - a long climb ahead!)

The talent and generosity I have seen displayed by the members of the ABS and anecdotes I have heard from friends made my choice to join incredibly easy. I look forward to learning as much as I can in the coming years, as I have seen the great work put out by everyone here.

Cheers

Sam
