Greetings everyone!  

After 20 years of federal law enforcement, I'm staring down the barrel of retirement and have been wondering, "what now?"

I've been an avid fan of Forged in Fire for years (it's one of the only reasons I turn on the TV anymore).  I've also read a few books and YouTube videos because I enjoy watching craftsmen (and craftswomen) at work.

My angel wife got me $1000 of blacksmithing lessons for Christmas (I don't deserve such a wonderful woman).  After 20 years of bureaucracy, I can't wait to actually MAKE things!

I'm happy to be here and hope to meet some of you along the way...
