I typically try to avoid any organization that would have me as a member, but I am very excited to join the ABS. I love bowie knives, and I wanted to try to make one.
After a trip to the blade show, I realized that the work the ABS members put out is of the highest quality, and these are the guys I want to teach me. I got to meet multiple members there. Each one was gracious, and several extended offers to visit their shop. Yep. These are my kind of people...
I live in Columbia, TN, but I travel a great deal for work. I am still trying to figure out how to get a forge into my hotel rooms. I plan to take the intro class this coming spring, and I look forward to meeting more of you in the future.
Welcome Seth! Enjoy your journey.

Welcome Seth
The ABS is a hard working group. The time and effort the instructors, organizers, and staff put in to make this organization what it is show there devotion to this craft.
The forge might not be to much of a problem, but carrying the anvil in and out might be tiresome.
Enjoy.
