Hello all, my name is Tony DeLalla and I have recently joined ABS and am fresh from the 28th Annual Batson Bladesmithing Symposium. I have only been making stock removal knives since July last year and have discovered there is far more than I imagined. Just bought an Anvil from an ABS member and learned of ABS which has opened new exciting path for me. Im currently working my third forged blade in an attempt to preserve what i learned this weekend.
my digital thermometer has just arrived, and im looking forward to understanding the process in much greater detail. I expect to be signing up for October's Introduction to Bladesmithing with Jim Crowell this week and am excited to progress and produce a better product.
