Hi all,

I'm Wes, lived in Colorado almost my whole life. Born and raised here and have been doing HVAC remodel the past ~4 years. Acquired an interest in bladesmithing over the past few years and am now in a decent position to finally take a crack at it.

I've worked with metal in some form or other on and off since high school, have a foundry and have made over a dozen ingots of varying metals with it. 

Some of the equipment I've acquired is as follows:

Emerson Horseshoe Supply 100lb anvil

Majestic Forge 3 burner multipurpose forge

3lb cross peen hammer

And a few other bits and ends.

I'm looking forward to learning not only from serious experts but also my own mistakes. I'd appreciate any and all advice and critique.
