Hello ABS,

My Name is Barry Kennedy and I live in outback Australia.

I have made several knives in the past using the stock removal method but I am new to blade forging. I forged my first knife under the guidance of Australian knife maker and Journeyman smith Keith Fludder from whom I have gained a wealth of knowledge so far.

I hope to learn more from all the information available on the forum along with guidance from the forum members. I would also like to come to America one day to attend one of the bladesmithing schools and see the Atlanta blade show.

I look forward to discussing with you all more about the art of forging blades!

Thanks

Barry Kennedy

Welcome to the ABS Barry!

The variety of people here is what makes this place worthwhile.
