I am new here, so I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Chris I have been forging and attempting to make knives and edged tools for about 4 years. I have made a bit of progress in my skill sets but have a long way to go. I do plan to participate here by showing what I do and by asking questions pertaining to the projects I am working on or planning. Hopefully along the way I can help others. I know some here and have met some others but look forward to meeting more.
I attached an image of a recent fillet knife of 15N20 to give folks an idea of where I am in knife making.

For those of you who have not met Chris, he has been a friend of mine for many years, back before either one of us made knives. His work is diverse and growing. He has set a high standard for himself making very clean knives in the area of fit and finish. When it comes to heat treat, lets just say that he understands it well and tests as much as anyone out there. Just what we need in the ABS.
Thanks for the welcome Lin, and all the help you have given along the way. Your what the ABS is about, always willing to help those that are willing to listen and learn.

Welcome Chris! Good to have you join us.
Thank you Craig. I look forward to seeing you in Kansas City. I can't wait to see what you bring and get a close look at your slip joints, I am kind of a slip joint junkie and you will never find me without one in a pocket somewhere.
