Hey everyone,

Just a quick introduction to say hi. I've always been a knife and sword nut and have wanted to do this for a long time. I finally decided that since I wasn't getting any younger it was time to get started. I'm brand new to forging and am currently taking general forging classes from a local blacksmith (forging tongs in the next class) and working on building my first forge. I've signed up for the "Intro to Bladesmithing" class at Haywood CC in March. Really looking forward to the class and meeting folks at the hammer-in. I've got a long way to go, but my eventual goal is to earn a journeyman rating and share the knowledge I gain with others.
