Hello, my name is Mark Cooke and im a new knife maker from Spring (Houston) TEXAS. been making knives for about a year and a half now and have fallen deeply into the addiction haha. i go by the name "LongDog Knives" if some of you are on instagram we may already know one another <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//biggrin.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

thus far all of my work has been via stock removal, but thats about to change! since the get go i've been wanting to forge my blades but just never had the proper equipment etc, but now i have saved enough to purchase a Nimba anvil and build a forge based off of don fogs designs. anyhow I'm looking forward to conversing with some of you guys and hopefully meeting y'all sometime in the near future! I hope to attend some classes in Texarkanna in the spring 2016.

here is an example of some work i have finished recently. including my first hidden tang
