Hello, folks. Jason Fry here, from Abilene, Texas. I just joined your fine organization. I've been making knives for about 6 years. I'm mostly stock removal for now, but have forged maybe a dozen blades. I am a probationary member in the Knifemaker's Guild and plan to finish that process and become a voting member in 2015. I hope to sneak down to Texarkana this fall and then to do my JS judging at the Expo in 2016.

I know a few of you, and a few of you know me. Glad we've got another place to hang out together.

Here are a couple of my knives, as an introduction. First, a 154 CM frame handled hunter. Guard and frame are plum browned mild steel, with fileworked stainless liners and Sambar stag.

Second, a fighter/bowie. This knife is stock removal D2 with a wrought iron guard and mesquite handle.
