Hello ABS,

My name is Cornelius Rusandhy,

I live in Jakarta-Indonesia.

I have just completed ABS Introduction to Bladesmithing class last week in Belgium with Master Smith TIm Potier, I also met Jean Paul M.S from France.

I'm very new to knife making so I look forward to gaining some knowledge and wisdom on this forum.

Thank you.

Regards,

Cornelius Rusandhy

Welcome to the American Bladesmith Society and the ABS Forum. You will find many members willing to assist you on our Forum.

Tim Potier is an outstanding instructor so I am sure that you learned a great deal at the Introduction to Bladesmithing class.

Hello Cornelius,

I guess you had a good time in Ostiches? I just started the "handles and guards" class with Jean-Paul and Tim is singing all the time...I wonder if this is a knifemakers desease 😉 Always welcome here in Belgium.

Hello Cornelius. It is great to have you in the ABS and on the forum. If we can help let us know. And Christophe, I think it is a Tim thing, or maybe a cajun thing. He is an excellent instructor.

Welcome again Cornelius.

Cornelius, It's nice to see we have fellow members in places as Indonesia. Welcome to the ABS and to this forum. I would be interested to see a bit of your work and shop, not to mention the area in which you live. Please share in our conversations and let us know what we can do to help if you have a question. Hi guys,

I really appreciate your warm welcome

I consider my self as newbie in knifemaking especially bladesmithing. But I have growing interest in bladesmithing over the past few years, then since this year I decide to be serious in it. I am now starting up my own workshop in Indonesia and have been looking for various references for this. I'll try to apply what i get from the class, and will post the pics of my knives here to have some opinions from the forum. I believe that with all of the experiences you all have, you can help me in my effort.

and for Chris : I would be happy to drink Goliath with you if we have a chance to meet in Ostiches or Belgium.

Thanks,

Cornelius
