I must have missed this when I joined so I will do it now. Name's Cheyenne Walker. I'm a novice at smithing. I first became interested in bladesmithing after seeing an article on the ABS in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette way back in '97. After many years, much searching, and a moving a few times I am finally starting down that path. So far I haven't made anything worthwhile, but have had fun trying. <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Welcome to the ABS Forum. You have been posting some good questions and receiving outstanding advice from our more experienced ABS members which is what the ABS is about - education.

You should consider attending the Spring Piney Woods Hammer-In in March in Washington, Arkansas. BR Hughes is putting together another great two day program.
