Hobby maker from the Hartland area here.  I'm about a year and a half into my knifemaking journey, and thought I'd join ABS and make some hardened goals for myself. I'm always hungry to learn more about everything, but I've done enough to know that I want to pursue this craft with a higher degree of seriousness.  So to get the clock ticking to start planning & working on a JS Performance Test blade and then on the 5-pc set for review this is my first official step in that process.  I have to give credit to the fine guys I met at the Midwest Knifemaker's Guild Hammer In in Mankato, MN this past weekend for the nudge.  I'm looking forward to becoming more involved.
