Hello and welcome Girnie. You certainly have a jump on the production aspect. I really like the engravings.

As for photo resizing. I have found that for phone users pixlr.com (they have a phone app!) works well.

that whole thing at least helped me learn something about my phone :-/. Learned I have to down load onto desk top and resize that way, I can barely see anything on that thing even with my glasses. Thank you the engraving was course honestly I recently had to stick my ego on the shelf and accept I am going near sight blind. So I ordered a acrobat microscope stand to give me measurements to build station and then I will order the microscope next. Anything I make is pretty much a wash since it just goes back into tooling. I have a lot of nuances around what the ABS has build standard wise to learn. So I hope I am able to take on the information and execute it. you do some very nice work Joshua 🙂

Well, for coarse engraving, it looks pretty good to me. I have always wanted to try my hand at that. I saw a demo from J Arthur Loose where he engraved in bronze and silver and filled it with niello.

I played with it once, but some day I will have to find the time to try it for real. It looks great on scabbard fittings. Thanks for the compliment. I was very lucky to have a mentor to work with.

I'm not sure what you mean by: "I have a lot of nuances around what the ABS has build standard wise to learn.", but if I can help, I will.

what I meant about nuances I can give a fine example tonight. I as I have been muddling on my own was doing it all the hard way, same as I would have on jewelry as a bench jeweler. So say fitting a guard was slow and pain staking. I read in the forum and watched some clips and bam guard fit snug as a bug toot sweet.........I just shook my headed and chuckled. I have no one in person as a mentor here, I was lucky as a jeweler and had a Master jeweler from Caine's Australia I sat next to for years to learn from in that area of metal work. This is going to be slower I suspect for me.........
