Hello,

I am new to the ABS. I am excited and honored to be able to participate in this community, and I hope to learn and contribute in time. I have built a small workshop over the last few years. I have been tinkering with forging steel and casting(brass and silver mostly) for the past few years, and finally finished my first functional knife about a year ago. Since then, I have been playing with new materials and techniques, and trying to improve on the basics of metal moving, heat treating, and fit and finish. Bladesmithing has become a major passion and addiction of mine, and I hope to be a member of the ABS and a part of the Bladesmith community for as long as I am able to swing a hammer.
