Hello everyone
I'm so glad to join ABS as a regular member.I come from China Yunnan. My name is Yi Jiang(with Chinese write like this 姜一,the literally meaning of “姜†is GINGER and “一†is ONE or first ),I’m 31 years old now .As a second language,my English is poor. But I think this will not make a big obstacle among us.I loved knives and made(stock remove method) them from childhood,5 years ago I forged my first knife ,it is ugly but I was still proud of it.In the past 5 years I studied much knowledge about making knives form Books and forums.ABS is a professional society with making perfect knives,I think I will get much knowledge and technique here,I am glad to share my knowledge. next season I will buy some equipment to start my new knife making career.

Yes,a friend of mine(Jason Chen) joined the ABS last year.He has been making knives for three years. We lived in the same province(Yunnan). Our dream is to learn knife making technique ã€skills and make good forged knives, and even earn the rating of Journeyman Smith and Master Smith in the ABS(I do not know whether this can be achieved ) .
