Hey there,

I just joined ABS and am already loving everything about the forum. I started blacksmithing a little over a year ago, and took a class at the New England School of Metalwork about 9 months ago now. My first class there was the ABS into with Mike Williams, and since then I've taken a couple other classes there and even went to the last hammer-in. I love smithing, be it bottle openers, or especially knives, and am fortunate enough to have found a farmer near by with an old propane forge in his garage he's letting me use and set up, so pretty soon I'll be able to make a knife on my own time and start practicing everything I've learned! I'm really looking forward to all the awesome advice I'm going to get from this forum, whether I ask a question myself or just read responses to others.
