Good morning all,

My name is Jesse Bartram and i love the ABS. No single thing I've done had advanced my bladesmithing endeavor along more than joining this organization and meeting the wonderful people that I've been fortunate enough to meet and pick their brains. Or just sit and watch in awe at a master smith performs with ease a task that i would have before hand found complicated and daunting, and in so doing learn a better way. Upon reading the august topic of the month about participation, alot of points were brought up that rang true with me and i figured I'd better pull up my socks and start contributing. I attempted and passed my performance test in June of 2014 with master ed caffery and hope to be able to make it to next year's blade show for the final judgements. Well that's a bit about me and i look forward to conversating with you folks.

Take care

Jesse! About time you showed up! <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Good to see you here Pal. For those who don't know, I had the honor of admistering Jesse's JS performance test at Jim Clow's hammer-in. He did an outstanding job, and I look forward to seeing him in either Atlanta or KC.
