It is a pleasure to join everyone here. I have been dreaming of becoming a smith for 15-20 years now, just this year I started getting serious and acquiring the materials to start a shop. I just had the pleasure of completing a 2 day class with Kevin Cashen at Matherton forge and I strongly recommend it to anyone that can. Kevin was a great teacher and I am certain he has saved many, many hard lessons in just those two days. I am looking forward to getting back to my shop and turning out some terrible knives and eventually maybe some acceptable ones.
