I'd like to thank you for allowing me to become part of this organization. I live in Branson, Mo., actually never lived anywhere else but Missouri. My actual occupation involves working with electrical substations and the units that protects the lines and equipment. I've been in that industry for over 30 years. I started making knives several years ago, with little success. I knew no one who made or had any knowledge of blades. I only made some real pretty pieces of steel that "looked" like a knife. In the last few years I have expanded my knowledge base to a point where I can call myself a knife maker. Tom McGinnis has allowed me to help him with classes and further my experience by helping his students. It's my hope I can continue my education and experience and one day acquire the Master Smith title. I look forward to meeting more of you at shows and Hammer-Ins.
