Hello everyone I am excited to be sharing with a group of people who have a common interest, making knives.

I have been making knives for about two years. I started with just buying premade knife blanks and adding handles. I progressed then to buying 1095 grinding and then heat treating the knives, and of course adding handles. Currently I have started to form the blades on an anvil rather then grind it all on a belt grinder.

I certainly enjoy making all the blacksmith gear that goes with this type of work. I made my own Belt grinder, anvil stands, anvil hardy's, forges, etc.

I will be soaking all the good information offered by this group.
