Hi Everyone!

I'm a new maker in Bealeton, VA which is about an hour south of Washington DC. I started out by learning sharpening a couple years ago and it naturally grew into wanting to make knives. I'm almost at my first year mark and have completed 5 knives so far, and attempted an additional 20. I forged the knife that my wife and I used to cut our wedding cake, and I hope that knife lasts for many generations in my family.

What I love about knife making is the endless depths of discovery and knowledge to be had. Every aspect of knife making has it's own subject matter and there will never be an end to learning or challenging oneself. I also love the community of sharing and support amongst the makers. My first Blade show was in 2017 and I plan to continue attending as long as I can. I recently attended the Shenandoah Valley Knife Collectors annual show in Harrisonburg, VA and found that everyone in attendance/exhibiting was just as accomodating and helpful as everyone I had met at the Blade Show.

I look forward to contributing to the community as my knowledge, skills, and abilities grow and am excited to be a part of this journey with all of you!

Here is my most recently finished knife, a 4.5 inch full tang hunter with slotted nickel guard and California Redwood handle.
