Howdy all, I just spent several hours breaking down barstock on the bandsaw for cannister demascus, and it looks like I have many more hours ahead of me if I want small semi homogeneous peices.  There has to be an easier way.  Is anyone aware of a supplier for small 10 series steel or similar slugs, beads, b.b.s, tumbling media, wire or wire rope (steel cable)?  Nickel plated versions of the same might also be interesting.

I was hoping to end up with cannister damascus billets that give the impression of crackle paint ot broken glass.

Any assistance greatly appreciated, my google-fu has failed me.

A couple ideas. For cable "High temp tools " carries a few different sizes. Wire you could try Grainger they have 1085 wire. There's always ball bearings too but you said 10 series Google loose ball bearings for that. Hope this helps.
