To all ABS members,

It has been reported by several of our members that there is a scam email being sent using the ABS logo and a bogus ABS email address.  As unbelievable as it may seem that somebody could be despicable enough to use a bogus fundraiser for a critically ill child, it would appear that such loathsome people exist and are using the ABS logo in a scam email. If any ABS members receive an email from an odd americanbladesmith.org email address attempting to use the ABS logo, be aware that this is not from the ABS, and is not legitimate. The American Bladesmith Society will never send you a direct email asking for a donation to third party in this fashion. Do not click on any links in the message or attempt to respond, as it is not a legitimate ABS email address
