Dan,
Thanks for posting this video. We're all really excited about the upcoming ABS Expo in San Antonio next January. Cool weather in one of America's finest cities, good friends, and some of the best knives you've ever seen: what could be more fun.
I'll be working hard on my presentation; I only hope the schedule gives me time to see some of the other guys' talks. These should be a great addition to the show, for makers and collectors alike.
I hope everyone who's attending the show will contact all their clients and friends and promote this exciting event.
See you there!

The video is cool. I am looking forward to the show. It is close to home and the weather will be nice for the river walk.

If you have an interest in forged knives, the ABS Expo is the place to be! The finest makers in the ABS bring their best work to the Expo!
January should be a great time of year to be in San Antonio. I pray that I won't be stuck in a blizzard in Kansas.......... <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
I will be doing a demo on handles and guards. There have already been some really good demos on basic handles and guards. Terry Vandeventer put on an excellent demo last year! So, I may focus on some things that I do in my shop that are perhaps different methods than other makers use. I am considering showing how I use a computer to design my knife fittings, then print the designs and use the paper patterns to cut out the parts. I'll also bring the tools that I use to cut the fluting and twisted wire channel in dagger handles.
Let me know if these are things that you would like to see, or if you are interested in something else.
John, Tommy, and Steve
