Just wanted to thank you guys for all the knowledge you have all freely given throughout this website! 

I’ve been chasing a solid hammon on a katana for a little bit, and thanks to all of your suggestions to others over the years I got what I’m real happy with on this blade! 

its NJSB 1075 heated in a two burner propane forge judging temperature by eye, and quenched in p50

i lay in bed at night dreaming of an even heat kiln that I could put a sword in one day! Haha maybe one day!
