What size wire and type of wire do folks use for wire wrapping a dagger or sword handle? I'm looking to do a little experimenting with a set of daggers I'm forging right now, but it would be great to at least start in the ballpark.
I've seen a couple tutorials, but if anyone has any tutorial recommendations, I would appreciate it.

I typically use between a 22 and 26 gage wire.

I've got some 22 and 24 gauge bronze from rio grande on the way as well as some low-carbon steel wire from McMaster-Carr (0.029", 0.023", and 0.018" diameter). We'll see where that gets me, and what I can go with it.
