Hi,

I made this block last week...11/11/14

Stabilized Leather Block is made for use on a Through Tang Knife with a pommel. 

Stabilized Natural Vegetable Tanned Leather Block

It will accept your dye and polish.

The block in the picture is LARGE.

For the display the block, on one side, was sanded down wit a 320 grit sandpaper

I dyed it with Fiebings "Saddle Tan" , oil dye.

The next step was to seal it with Fiebings "Bag Kote". It was buffed after it dried.

These steps will be removed with some more sanding.

 

Size: Height is 4.500". Width is 1.625". Length is 5.500"

Block can also be cut for your handle spacers.
