I usually make my Inlay groove maker .003 " thicker than the Silver Wire Ribbon.
I use a HSS Jewelers Saw Blade.
I get it from MSC
The reson I use it is because I can select the thickness.
The blades break easily so I can shape it easily by grinding it to the shape I want to use.
Sharpen it easily also. I use a 2X72 belt grinder

You can also go down to your local automotive store and buy a cheap set of feeler guages and make them according to the thickness you roll your wire. They are spring hardened and shape and polish easily with Dremal bits.
