I was given a bunch of axis deer antler pieces all of which curve to the right or the left. Is there a way to straighten them? I am linking a photo with three pieces that are typical of the bunch. The center piece is 6" long.

I have read about doing this before but have never tried it myself. Teh typical method I have read about is soaking in water for days then put in boiling water and clamp it straight in a press or vise.
A google search for How to straighten antler will yield similar instructions.
