Hi all
I'm new here and particularly weak when it comes to design ideas. I polished the grip of this Kiridashi, then realized that I might as well have greased the stupid thing. Any ideas for making it something I can hang onto? I'm looking for something somewhat artistic but not too difficult.
Thanks
Donovan
You could wrap it with grip tape. They sell it in most sport shops to wrap bat handles. There is a version used for tennis racquets also.
If it's an option forge the handle flatter, grind the edge off, and heat treat it again.

Hello Donovan. You could use a cord wrap like parachute cord, then coat it with epoxy. However I am with George, I would forge the handle to a more pleasing and grippy shape.

Thanks for the advice. I will reforge it.
