Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to give everyone an update on my personal status. For those who don't know, I've been struggling with health issues for a while, and about 6 months ago it hit me really hard. After tons of Doc visits, and enough blood (and other) tests to fill a pickup, I have some type of autoimmune disease that is affecting my lungs, and possibly other internal organs.
I've not worked in the shop since last Sept.
OK, all that being said, Cindy and I will be heading to Seattle, WA. (University of Washington Medical Center) in mid May. I'm scheduled for surgical biopsies on my lungs and lymph nodes, as well as visits with Pulmonology and Rheumatology to hopefully nail down what's going on. We'll be there at least 3 weeks, and if all goes well, we'll return home on, or about 1 June. Hopefully with some answers, and treatment(s)/roadmap to get me better.
Unfortunately, due to the type of surgery (lungs), I'll be unable to attend the Blade Show this year.
I also wanted to thank all those who have offered prayers and support....words can't express how grateful I am!!
I'll try to keep everyone posted on things, or at least have Cindy sign on and keep things updated.
