Hello Steve I just took a look at your slip joint tutorial. First thanks for taking the time to post this and thanks for showing some of your tricks. I really liked turning the belt upside down.

God Bless

Thanks Billy. Glad that you liked it.

The upside down belt thing is just one of those quirky tricks that we knifemakers come up with. It also cleans the wheels on your grinder; makes them nice and shiny!! <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmiths.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//laugh.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Excellent lesson Mr. Culver ! <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmiths.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//cool.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

I liked several aspects of the build, the upside down belt, and also the spade bit in the drill press just prior to final assembly. Both, great tips to add to a makers "bag-o-tricks" <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmiths.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//wink.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Beautiful finished folder too. Simply Beautiful !

Thanks for taking the time to put that together. I know for a fact, not even considering the knife build, that putting the tutorial together took many an evening.

Thanks again <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmiths.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I know not, what course others may take, but as for me, Give me Liberty, or Give me Death

Thanks, David.

I'm glad that you liked the tutorial.

I am going to do more photography of my knife building and also take photos of the jigs and fixtures that I have built so that I can post them on this forum and also in the "Master Class" section on the ABS web site. I've also bought a video camera that I hope to use. I've figured out how to use the camera, but I still don't understand how to use my video editing software to paste the clips together to make a movie. <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmiths.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//blink.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
