Hello to All!

There's been a lot happening in Frederick, Md. this Spring! To start with, I have been recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the William F. Moran, Jr. Foundation, which was an unexpected and humbling honor that I will do my best to live up to. I will be posting updates and information about the events and developments at the Museum & Foundation here on the ABS Forum, and if you have any questions or need info, please feel free to contact me.

In April, many of the members of the Foundation got together at the Forge / Museum and continued work to get our pavilion ready to be used as a forging area. Several trees were removed, the grounds cleared, gravel and sand for the floor of the pavilion were installed and leveled, stumps for anvils were brought in, and the granite monument was set in place and is now ready to receive one of Bill's anvils to complete it. Take a look at the video of the monument placement (Master Smith Jay Hendrickson is in the green hat)!
