Thats awesome man! I really enjoy your videos, I always learn something and I even made a few of the tools you showed. And that dagger looks really good as well.

I took one of these

“So I'm lightin' out for the territory, ahead of the scared and the weak and the mean spirited, because Aunt Sally is fixin’ to adopt me and civilize me, and I can't stand it. I've been there before.”

and made a bar out of it.

“So I'm lightin' out for the territory, ahead of the scared and the weak and the mean spirited, because Aunt Sally is fixin’ to adopt me and civilize me, and I can't stand it. I've been there before.”

@Michael Samdahl, this is all done in the press.

“So I'm lightin' out for the territory, ahead of the scared and the weak and the mean spirited, because Aunt Sally is fixin’ to adopt me and civilize me, and I can't stand it. I've been there before.”

Yesterday was my first time back at the anvil after almost a 7-month break and I forged an 8-inch chef from 1095. Starting stock

Normalizing finished forging

Clayed blade for hardening

I finally figured out how to imbed a pic! Yay!

Full forging process is here: Forging an 8-inch Chef Knife - Imgur

Joshua C States,

Well, I am still impressed. I hope your 7 month break was for something fun, and not an injury!

Respectfully
Michael
