I installed water to my shop and got a mini hot water heater.
That's a HUGE! upgrade.

Hmm, hot water was something I always was interested in for my lab, could you tell us a little bit more about the water heater

It's a 110v Bosch 4 gallon hot water heater.
My local pluming store has "on demand" heaters that are very reasonably priced and simple to install.

I was going to install one of those but I needed an 8 gauge wire ran for 220v. I had a 10 gauge wire ran for 220v. I ended up going the 110v route. I figure I can do whatever I needed with 4 gallons of water. I paid 150$ for this mini Hot water heater.
Tankless water heaters come in electric or gas powered (yes, you can get a propane heater), are extremely efficient, and easy to install. The gas ones require a vent to the outside, or need to be installed outdoors.
Nice upgrade Brian!

For what it's worth, if you're thinking of going this route, check with your local propane companies. A friend in the Shenandoah Valley got free installation and a good price on the heater.
I have one of the Bosch's too and it a breeze to install. Run on 110v
