Shawn McIntyre, the very talented, B.R.Hughes award winning Mastersmith, based in Australia, will be undergoing spinal fusion surgery tomorrow, Dec. 3rd.

It is expected that prompt treatment will remedy problems that have caused Shawn to have to cancel attendance at the Arkansas Show in February, and postpone some current orders.

All Shawn's friends please send your thoughts toward him and his lovely wife Amanda.

Amanda will be passing on news of Shawn's recovery, which will be posted here.

Shawn's an artist, a great friend, and a tough little rascal who'll be back at the top of his game soon.

Cheers to him from us all.

John

Just got a report from Amanda. Shawn's surgery went well. The "Wiggle your toes and fingers" check was OK, and now will come some intensive rehabilitation to restore strength.

This has been a tough episode for Shawn and Amanda, but they thank all their friends for the kind wishes.

We'll look forward to seeing Shawn back at the front ranks of the custom knife scene soon.

John

Sally and I heard from Shawn tonight and Sally helped him renew his ABS membership. This is part of his email to us.

Sally

Happy New year to you and Dan.

Thank you for the reminder.  I have had my eye off the ball a bit lately.  I had to have a spinal fusion of two vertebra in my neck six weeks ago.

Thank you in advance for your help in this.

Cheers

Shawn McIntyre
