I am saddened to tell you that I received an email from Apprentice Smith Chris Stross early this morning about the death of his wife last Sunday. He took the Introduction to Bladesmithing Class last April at Texarkana College and Master Smiths Jim Crowell and Tim Potier were the instructors.
Chris has been working on writing an article about his experiences at the class at Texarkana College for the ABS Website.
Chris is from Tucson, Arizona and he and his wife had been married for 21 years.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris and his family at this time.

Chris is a great pearson. I met him while attending the class. He took lots of pictures and was kind enough to send some to l his class mates. I am so sorry for his loss and will say a special prayer for him and his family!
