I am saddened to tell you that ABS Board of Director's Member Jim Phillip’s fiancé Jacqueline White passed away this morning. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jim at this time.

Norton Funeral home in Williamstown, NJ is handling the funeral arrangements and this is the obituary for Jacqueline White.

(September 20, 1943 - September 28, 2012)

Jacqueline White, age 69, a long time resident of Folsom, NJ died peacefully at home on Fri, Sept. 28, 2012.

She was born in Oran, Algeria, Sept. 20, 1943. She came to America with her family and settled in Phila. She was married to former Phila Police Officer Robert Daniel White who was killed in the line of duty while serving with the Highway Patrol.

She is survived by two daughters, Dina Wentzell of Hammonton and Joanne Peterson of Orange County, CA. She is also survived by granddaughters, Ashley Wentzell of Hammonton and Kate Peterson of Albany, NY. Also by her fiancé James Phillips of Folsom a retired Lt. of the Camden Police Dept.

Jackie was a long time employee of the Wawa Corp of Red Roof, PA for 25 years. She served as a corporate trainer and as her health failed stayed on at the local store in Hammonton. She won numerous awards with the company through the years and was always known as “Ms. Sunshine”. Her smile and attitude were infectious.

She was active in her community serving as president of the PTA and Folsom Parents Assoc. She created a lot of life to the community she served. Viewing will be Sat., Oct. 6, 2012 11a-1p at NORTON FUNERAL HOME 1232 S. Black Horse Pk. Williamstown where service will immediately follow. Burial Greenmount Cem. Hammonton. Contributions in lieu of flowers should be made to the Humane Society of Atlantic County 1401 Absecon Blvd. Atlantic City, NJ 08401 for the animal lover that she was.
