I heard about this on Facebook. We have lost one of the pioneers. I never got a chance to meet or speak with Mr Pendray but his work opened doors and lead me in directions I never would have thought to go. He will be missed

ABS Master Smith Al Pendray was one of the giants in bladesmithing. I remember calling and talking to him years ago when I first began development of the ABS Website. I remember how warm and friendly he was during our conversation.
