so for those that do not know I have a somewhat unique shop situation, there are four of us sharing a extremely well equipped shop all working under one business. we are all bladesmiths and sword makers and also do a fare amount of highend ironwork as well(railings fencing gates etc.) we have won several Nomma top job awards for our ironwork.

well one of our members will be leaving the shop with in a few months, so we will have a space available for someone new in the business.

the basic structure we run the shop under is all members pay in "rent" along with 10% of sales after materials, the shop buys materials consumables, and supplies. the shop also pays for advertising/ marketing costs (photos website show costs etc) as well as general business expenses like insurance book keeping etc we share leads that come in through the web sites as well as classes.

for equipment we currently have a full machine shop (2 millers 2 lathes and a surface grinder) full fab shop (two fab tables wit bot Mig and tig welders) our forging set up includes,several gas forges, a 15 KW induction forge, 25 ton press a 110LB saymak, and a 4B Nazel, as well as 14 anvils from 112-450LB we have 4 ovens (two with argon purge) and a high temp salt rig, we can heat treat up to a 54" blade. we have currently 5 2/72" grinders 3 variable speed 2 fixed as well as 2 3/136" grinders all in n 6000sqf space.
