Cindy Sheely just sent the following email from Jim Batson to the ABS Board and I am sharing it with you.
"Rob Hudson, MS, was found in a comma in his barn. He was taken to a hospital in Hanover, NH. They drained some fluid near his brain and repaired an aneurism. This is the latest report from his girl friend Sara.
Pray for Rob.
Jim"

Oh man! Tough stretch for Rob!
So I live about ahalf-hour from Hanover--been visiting Rob every couple months or so. Do you have any information about what hospital he's in? I'd love to go visit, see if there's anything I can do to help.

Journeyman Smith Zack Jonas was able to make contact today with Sarah who is Rob Hudson's girlfriend and sent me a detailed email about Rob's condition. I have also learned that Sarah is reading books to Rob. This is a brief summary of what Zack was able to learn.
It has been 12 or 13 weeks since the incident, and Rob Hudson is making forward progress every day. He has had two operations, a tracheostomy and a craniotomy. Rob can open his eyes and keep them open for long periods. He has recovered use of his right arm, and can move both feet, including his toes. He is starting to be able to move his leg muscles again, and that's the next thing they're going to focus on in physical therapy. His attitude is positive, and according to Sarah he is eager to get up and walking.
The original prognosis for recovery was 6+ months from the first two doctors who worked with him. But based on his positive indicators and progress, the current estimate is 3-6 months. Rob Hudson is being treated at the Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Hospital in New Hampshire.
