Pulled a REAL bonehead move! I WAS SUPPOSE to have Usher duty at our 5pm Christmas Eve Church service.....I was coming back upstairs from our basement bedroom....a dress shirt in each hand to ask Cindy which one I should wear.

At the top of our stairs we have a Dutch Door which leads into the kitchen....and for whatever reason the top half was half way closed.....guess what I did...

So much for making it to 5pm Church service! Instead we made a Christmas Eve visit to the ER.

So, for Christmas this year, I got 9 shiny new staples......in my head!

Man do I ever feel like a dope! <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//rolleyes.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Well, at least your hair didn't interfer with the proceedings.

I am so bad!<img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Sorry Ed, it's just that,...........no hair jokes are usually directed at me. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Neat stapling job BTW. Lin

I just have to laugh at myself about the whole thing....at least Cindy will have a good Christmas story to tell for years to come!

It's funny you mentioned hair Lin....not 20 mins before it happened, Cindy gave me a hair cut! <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> My hair was about 1/2" long, and I told her I was getting "shaggy". <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Maybe you can weld the staples into a damascus billet when you are done with them. <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//laugh.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
