Well, it has been about a week recovering from our first winter hammer in, and I have been sifting through pictures and working on a few other details. I really need to say thank you to a few people who helped make this happen, we had more than fourty local people from the area show up over the weekend, and made a huge impact on the community.

First off, thank you to JS Bill Wiggins, MS Jim Batson, Larry and Richard Harley for making the drives to come out. I cannot begin to tell you the difference that these gentlemen made in the skill level of the guys I have been teaching.

I also need to thank a few people who were not able to make it out, but whom we would not have been able to get this done without an increadable ammount of help. Joe Keeslar, and Dr. Sanford Klein were highly instrumental in getting this coordinated.

I also need to thank Bader Grinders for getting the grinder that was donated delivered in time. Working with my smaller grinder would have been a serious bottleneck.

A big thank you to Aldo Bruno, the New Jersey Steel Baron, for overnighting the steel for the hammer in after some confusion on our part.

Many thank you's to the local community, including Chris Price, James Crawford, Kirk Westwood, Mike Andriacco, Nathan Loosevelt, and David Collier for their daily assistance in logistics, planning, photography, videography, etc.

And finally, thank you all for the support and encouragement to take a shared passion and use it to make a difference!

Here are a few pictures of the weekend, I hope you enjoy!

Stsy tuned to our website, for more pictures and video as we get this all processed!

That sounds like a perfect way to spend a Winter weekend. I'm glad to see the enthusiasm going strong in that area. Good work.
