Cutting Edge:  Evolution of the Knife

Cutting Edge, curated by Brett Bennett, will feature more than 50 fine, hand-crafted knives by approximately 25 leading artisans in this genre.  Artisans are creating handmade knives which bridge the gap between craft and art. Combining age-old techniques with modern technology, these stunning works of functional art often incorporate rare, precious, and unusual materials. Among the artists are:  American Bladesmith Society members Russ Andrews, MS and Vince Evans, AP.

 

A related “Cutting Edge Workshop” is being planned for the fall with several accomplished knife-makers presiding over lectures and an outdoor forging demonstration.
