This knife has taken me WAY too long to finish, seems like everything that could go wrong did (this is the THIRD handle on this bad boy)
that being said, I'm really happy with the end result.

Twist damascus fittings.
And a butt shot because I like how well the damascus turned out
That looks like one beefy dagger! Nice work.
Stephen that is one great looking knife. The long build time sure payed off. Steve

Stephan - I would be interested to learn how you finished the Amboyna wood. I keep running into porosity in the amboyna I have worked with and end up with little holes!
Dan you can easily fill the holes <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmiths.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//wink.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> Take some of the amboyna dust from the block and pack it into the holes and then pour some thin super glue over the dust and let it dry then sand the glue off and presto, the holes are gone. This technique works wonders on spalted woods as well.
Stephen, that is a great hamon on your dagger! The damascus fittings and amboyna handle are a nice touch too.
