All I can really say is wow. I just happened to go to the site to see if the rules had changed any for JS testing and saw the new site was up. You guys really out did yourselves with this site.
Hello Jimmy and welcome to the forum. We missed you at the hammer in. You have Dan and his lovely wife Sally to thank for all the hard work. I agree, it is a great website.

I would like to thank the ABS board so much for putting the fourm on their new site. As I think one can already see,it is a great tool for new maker's. They can ask a question and get the answer back in minute's. It is going to be a very valuable tool for the Bladesmith in need of help. Remember the answer's are coming from ABS trained Makers. So Mastersmith's please answer some of the question's you see posted for it's you that some area's of the country don't have access to. Let's all enjoy our super new web site and forum!!!!!!
The bulk of the appreciation for the new web site and forum should go to Dan and Sally Cassidy. They have spent countless hours working with the programmers who built the site; plus untold hours testing to ensure that everything was working properly before the launch.
There is also a group of folks who assisted in testing the forum before it went on line. Their message posts and photo uploads to the test site helped to identify any issues that needed to be resolved before publication to the internet.
Lastly, we should remember that we owe a debt of gratitude to Dog Fogg for his service to the ABS as Web Master of the old site.
My thanks to all of these individuals!!
Must throw in my 2 cents worth of gratitude here as well.
I have been using, as many of us have, all the various forums out there
to learn and share information, but this ready access to the experience
of masters really separates the grain from the chaff.
Thanks to Dan and Sally for their hard work,
and thanks to those who share their knowledge so openly.
kind regards,
Corey Smith
